Suggestions for beginner

Hi. I have a friend who is looking to buy a keyboard for his wife. He wants it to have either 61 or 76 keys, at least semi-weighted but prefers weighted, and touch sensitive. He hasn't answered back whether he will have an amplifier to plug it into or not. He wants the primary function to be to simulate playing piano but also to have some synthesizer sounds as well. I only owned one keyboard before I switched to midi controllers, and it was a Triton LE. So, I haven't done much shopping around in about 6 or 7 years. What can he expect to pay for a keyboard that has all of the said functions and what are some particular suggestions? Thanks.
