Thanks Paul.

Agreed. There's a lot of subtle harmonics in the piece and it takes decent equipment to give it a fair listen.

EQ settings matter a lot with this one as well.

Haven't heard any of your new music for a while, and it's always a pleasure! Have to say though, I'm listening on my laptop and the bass didn't really come through (unsurprising I guess, the speakers aren't great) so I must give it a try on my PC later :)

By all means give it a listen on a decent sound system.

The Bandcamp version is noticeably clearer. However you are limited to only 3 plays on Bandcamp before you have to pay up and buy the song or the album.

BTW, how's your recovery been coming along Becky?

I'm so happy to hear that you're fully on the mend.

Apparently sometimes the doctors know what they're doing after all :)

As for my tune, if you don't have a PC hooked up to a decent sound system a good quality set of headphones will do in a pinch.

To be honest, headphones may actually be the best way to hear this song.

At first I played it on my mobile phone when i woke up (in sleepy mode) and I thought . . "Okay but not one of his best"
Then Paul said . .
LIke the bass sound you've got going there . .

So I tried it again (after my ablutions lol) on my PC which has a sub woofer and a thumpin bass sound adjustment.
That certainly activated your tune.

Good work.

One day I will get up the courage to post one or two of mine.

Boring day coming up now being Good Friday. Great oportunity to play some music.

Happy Easter everyone. Take care and have a great holiday if you are going away.:)

Yeah, the quality of the equipment you play it on has a huge effect on music.

I guess that's why back in the 60's it was all treble notes and twangy guitars cause everyone was listening to AM radio on a 2 inch transistor radio speaker.

Thanks for the comeback Ray.

And a Happy Easter to all here as well. :)

I'll dig mine out... you have reminded me that I need to get some new ones! I've got a PSVR and I want some that are compatible with that, but are also noise cancelling for in the future when we travel. Crying kids / arguing families / people in general being inconsiderately loud are all things that drive me up the wall!

One day I will get up the courage to post one or two of mine.

Go for it :D

And a Happy Easter to all here as well. :)

I'll second that - hope everyone has a great weekend! :)

I like the melody! I've got my 2 computers in my music studio and they're both connected to a pair of Edirol studio monitors. I also listen through a par of Sennheiser HD 280 PRO headphones. My studio monitors don't actually have enough bass for me so when I can I'm going to get one of those Monoprice sub woofers.
Both computers first go into my old Presonus Studiolive 16-4-2 mixer. It has controls on it so I can easily alter the volumes for the headphones and the monitors.
Good job Gary!

Thanks Jeremy...

The Monoprice Sub works really well in my studio supplementing the BX5A Monitors.

Lacking a sub, I'd say a decent set of headphones is the best option.

I'm really happy you liked it.

Gary ;)
