Voices

Anyone know of any midi sounds/voices..NOT songs? Specifically looking for male vocal or choral sounds.I've found female vocal and choral voices/sounds but, not male.
Any thoughts? (yes, I've tried doing web searches to no avail)

If you are searching for "male midi sounds", then that is your problem - as midi sounds are a bit of an oxymoron - since midi is not sound at all, but rather computer programs and a communication protocol that tell sound modules how to make their sounds.

What you are looking for are "samples". Try searching on "male vocal samples" and I think you will find what you need.

Hey Ted!
Thank you! I'm still kind of new to all this. I have a Technics KN5000 and just purchased the Technics GA3 organ. Though admitting, been looking at the Yamaha Tyros too but, well out of my price range right now.
I'll take up your suggestion and appreciate the advice.

Here's hoping you get much enjoyment out of the KN5000 and the GA3.

Here is a link to a brief explanation of the difference between MIDI and sound (audio). It's pretty rudimentary, but it will get you started without overwhelming you with a bunch of technical jargon. You can dig deeper into it as you go along.
