Xp-30 split layers help??

So, I just picked up a nice xp-30... Finally, after months of looking around.

First question...

I'm trying to create a split layer using two synth patches.
Rize Mass & Rivers of time

Any ideas how to do this? Is it even possible?

Page 52 of the owner's manual explains how to do this. If you need a manual, you can download one from the Support section of the Roland US site.

Note that the keyboard has to be in LAYER Performance mode to do this - NOT PART Performance mode.
