I think the specific subforums that are posted to might make a difference; at least, I know of other forums which follow that sort of practice. In particular, I don't know whether posts made within the "Community" subforums count, since they're technically classified as "off-topic."

Sorry for the slow reply! It looks you should be able to access that forum as you're in the "10 + posts group" - it could be that there's a bit of lag between 10 posts and the user group promotions system running. If you're still not able to access it, please let me know, as it should be working for you now.
