hi all. i have a ROLAND - EM25 that my mother bought for me around 2000 - 2002. it cost her a lot of money, but i dont remember how much. i dont remember the exact year either. i used to be into using cubase and music production, so i thought i might need a keyboard. but to date, i have never, EVER, used this keyboard once. its sat there all these years, and i think its time i sold it, as i will never use it. every keyboard seller site ive checked dont list a price. all they say is "item discontinued". i was wondering if anyone could tell me how much its worth, or how much it was worth back then? so i can think of a good sale price. if it helps, ill provide a link to a seller site, that has all the specs of this keyboard. so maybe any keyboard experts could estimate a good sale price for me after looking at the specs? please also bare in mind that its not 2nd hand, ive never used it:(

thanks in advance

A pretty good way to find the value on any item is to do a search for the same or very similar items on ebay. The buyers will always set the price on any non-new merchandise (and even new merchandise). There's one EM25 keyboard on there now with a "buy it now" price for $299.99. But if it goes unsold, that will let you (and that seller) know that that's far too high. If it sells fast, then maybe you could charge a little more for yours.

There's also a Roland EM50 keyboard listed there with a starting bid price of $100, that nobody's bid on yet. Put all EM* models on your watch-list to see what they finally sell for. If they do sell. Then you'll know what kind of price that others are willing to pay.

Use this ebay search string to find them all: roland em* keyboard -case -adapt*
