Nord Sample Editor help

We decided to perform Radio GaGa and needed to replicate the bass electro sound used on the intro and the track itself.
I sampled the bass sound and created a sample I can load into my stage three.
The bit I’m having a problem with is when I try to change the key of the sample it speeds up as well as moving from F to G.
Anybody got any ideas?

Use a DAW to change the pitch of the sample without increasing the speed.

Sorry I did not mention I do not use a laptop on stage so I have to work through the keyboard itself.

Yes but you can alter the sample at home, no?

I don’t know how red keyboards work but I figured if you can load one sample, you can load multiple, with different pitches. Of course maybe that’s not possible.

Another option would be to build the sound from scratch rather than sample it.

Alternatively you could run a sequencer or backing track.
