Thanks Gary. It is getting harder at my age to carry all this around. I still have the Roland but using a VR-09 on top instead of the XP.

My rig consists of just my Kronos 73. Stand, pedals and cables of course. As for playing out, I think those days are over for me. Carrying gear hurts my back too much.

Here it is then - new stand for the new Fantom (as its too deep for my old boards middle tier).

24 hours in. FW updated, Expansion Pack Loaded, Control Scheme/Midi plan sorted, Template patch created, time getting to know here, and first 10 Scenes (for 10 band songs) re-programed (many sounds from scratch in the synth engine).

LONG fist 24 hours.... What with Work and Sleep as well.

Ultimate style stand. I hope you're not too heavy handed with C0 and C7 :)

Still congrats on the rig. It looks awesome. :)

It was the only stand I could find that was deep enough, had 3 tier options and was the right height. Its a K&M Spider Pro - and the arms do come out. Because of the depth of the Fantom, there is only about 15cm overhang on each end of the RD. It does bounce a little if I get carried away. Much prefer the old Table stand. Unfortunately it was 8cm too narrow for the Fantom.

The Spider is easier to put up/down and carry though.

Don I'd be really interested in your feedback and review of this guy once you've gigged him a few times.
With the current shut down for the virus, it could be a while before I gig again. I'll be glad to to do one when I get some actual gig time with it. Delaware Dave has been using this same model for a while now, and he may already have done a review. Don

Thanks Don, I wasn't aware that DD had one - he's a big fan of the Gemini so I'm somewhat surprised. Excellent news though, I'll annoy him once he bobs his head up here again.

I think it will be a while before many of us are gigging mate - I reckon I'm six months away minimum.

Col. , this is the V5+ which is the latest version from Voce. The V5+ seems to be harder to find, as I've been watching for one for about six months or so. Don
Col, I just realized I did not answer your question. My apology Sir. There is still a web site for Voce, but it seems that they discontinued making the Voce modules a while ago. I can't find anyone who had any "new" modules. The Voce V5+ is an upgrade to the V5 which improved the chorus/vib/percusion. I got lucky and found a used V5+ from a studio which looks new. Don

It's been a while since I posted a pic of the rat's-nest-man-cave that my living/dining area has morphed into in the past few years.

This is where I play mainly for my day to day practice and enjoyment. I usually only fire up the main studio when I have an idea I want to record. There's a 6 Meter USB 3.0 cable tacked down along the wall, leading to a good quality 7 port USB Powered Hub. I may actually try some recording with this rig sometime once I've kicked out all the audio routing bugs.
