Hey all,

I've got a friend who has let me borrow her keyboard whilst she is away for a year. It's quite big and I think it's pretty decent, and I've always been a fan of piano music. Is the keyboard easily transfered to piano, and as such a good place to learn?

Also, are there any internet resources which can teach me to play, as I know absolutely nothing at the moment!

Hope you can help

Cheers

Hi and welcome...

And just for the info - the YPT210 is not big at all!
It's actually one of the smallest/light weighted keyboards on the market.

That being said - you can easily conclude that it really has no resemblance to the real piano. It has only 61 keys (compared to 88 on a grand piano), and the keys on
the PSR are just plain plastic - they are not weighted.

Good for a start though - and for carrying around. Lugging a stage piano around can hurt your back since they often have 20+ kg
