I'm assuming you are talking about an XM-1 or XM2 hammond module or some other hammond module like a Voce V5, Oberheim OB3, Roland VK-8M, etc.. Yes, the Motif XS would 'trigger' the module through MIDI (midi out of motif to midi in of the module). Both the module and the Motif would have to transmit/receive on the same MIDI channel.
